Functionality

By default, standard server applications like httpd, sendmail and dhcpd are provided. With a CF card or 2.5 inch HDD as storage device *1, additional Open Source server applications can be installed to use the OpenBlockS as all kinds of appliance.

*1 Internal harddisks can only be incliuded in the OpenBlockS 266.

Service software：: DHCP server / client; DNS server; FTP server / client; Telnet server; Mail Transfer Agent *; PPP client; PPPoE client; Packet filtering (iptables); httpd (for setup GUI)

* Only the mail transfer agent is installed by default. To receive emails, install POP3 / IMAP additionally.
