Full developer support with open specifications

Following the Open Source spirit, all necessary information on the OpenBlockS 600 is made public: hardware specifications, information on peripherals and the source code of all preinstalled software.
We also offer tutorials on how to build different types of server, to allow our customers to quickly create solutions.
We also offer encompassing support for developers who build appliances with their own software on the OpenBlockS.

The OS on the OpenBlockS is our self-developed, customized Linux distribution. It is optimized to offer a complete set of commands within the limits of an embedded environment. The system is open and highly flexible, and allows developers to tweak all aspects of the system down to changing the boot manager and factory reset environment.
The OpenBlockS is also supported by the Debian and Fedora Linux distributions and by NetBSD. You can install a Compact Flash card as internal storage to store large applications and data.

The Open Laboratory section of our website addresses all developer needs, such as firmware updates, source code, native and cross development environments, implementation guides and precompiled packages of popular applications.
