The OpenBlockS 600 is suited to the development of all types of services, especially where high reliability as well as temperature and dust resistance are key.
All design elements have been simplified and ruggedized to achieve a connector-free single board system. The OpenBlockS is designed without rotating parts such as fans and harddrives to remove a main cause of malfuctions. Combined with a robust aluminum enclosure, the system works flawlessly even in dusty conditions.
With all heat emitting components on the base and an effective heat dissipation design, the OpenBlockS achieves an ambient operating temperature of up to 55 °C.
You can place the OpenBlockS anywhere: under the office floor, in the junction box, anywhere normal hardware can’t go due to space and robustness requirements. It’s an effective solution for authentication servers, network monitoring and everything else that requires high reliability.
