Functionality

Basic server functionality like mail and networking is included in the SSD/Linux standard installation that is shipped on the onboard ROM. You can install additional software either with a Compact Flash card in the internal slot, or by using external storage over USB.
That way, you can turn the OpenMicroServer into a full-blown embedded appliance.

* An MTA is included to act as a mail server. The receive mails, install a POP / IMAP client.
